One family, two homes
Lanka Reisen was founded in 2018 by Dilshan Perera — born in Galle, emigrated to Berlin, returned with a mission. What started as a small recommendation list for German friends became a full-time passion: personally guided, honest journeys through the country of his childhood.
What matters to us
Three things: First, that every trip fits the traveller — not the other way round. Second, that our guests' money stays in Sri Lanka; we work exclusively with local family businesses. Third, that we'd rather recommend one hotel less than one we haven't tested ourselves.
How we work
You write to us. We reply within 24 hours — usually much faster. You book with a 30 % deposit, the rest two weeks before departure. On the ground a German-speaking guide accompanies you. During the trip we're available 24/7 — whether it's a stomach issue or a lost passport.
